Hello, Wise words and so very very true. What a pleasure to stumble (thanks to Helen's post on FB) across this reminder of what we and our bodies are intended for. And rather timely too, as I continue to nourish my wee boy in his 6th month of life when he doesn't show an overwhelming desire for 'food' but a longing for more milk - day and night.
I know what I'm doing is right but I must be honest and say its so very exhausting with 2 older kiddies and their needs also.
Thank you for the inspiration to continue to give him the best, to further strengthen the emotional bond he has with me and allow him to build a strong immune system - keeping him fighting illnesses with his own bodies abilities and not some introduced medication to 'quickfix' the problem. After all this is what his older brother and sister have had and they too have avoided any antiboitics or the like, this is something that we should be proud of and see as the proof that we ARE certainly giving them goodies that are immeasurably valuable to their beings.

Mothering is the most beautiful thing we can be doing, I love seeing your gentle spirit nurturing your wee babes. It is soul satisfying. x

See you at music soon, probably with our boobs out...
